In their 15th farming season Amber Waves celebrated the impact they’ve made to the East End. They’ve harvested 50 apprentices, provided food security by sharing over 80,000 pounds of food to over 17,000 families in Eastern Long Island, and recently opened a second location in East Hampton selling and serving farm fresh fare.
To support the 15th season events and celebration we created a commemorative seal and a collection of custom illustrations showcasing key brand elements.
Reflecting the rainbow of produce and products grown, we designed various color combinations for the seal, illustrations and merch.
Our celebratory seal was inspired by vintage signage and seals found on farms. The sunrise reflects optimism for the future, and the fields ground us in the present and importance the land we grow from.
The illustrations showcase some of the farms’ signatures—Ficus the cat, chickens, founders Katie and Amanda, a tractor, the barn, and produce.
Our designs were applied to fun items like patches, pins, flower wrapping paper, matches and wearables.
